Danville Services of Oregon has openings for a Behavioral Specialist.

Behavioral Specialists support individuals to achieve their desired quality of life.

As an integral part of an interdisciplinary team, Behavior Specialists are responsible for the development of Positive Behavior Support Plans for clients receiving Behavior Support Services from Danville. The Behavior Specialist also provides on-going evaluation, input and support to the client and their ISP Team and ensures that the support plans are implemented with competence and fidelity. Behavior Specialists also address behavioral concerns as they occur and are a resource for Program Coordinators, Directors and Direct Support Professionals supporting clients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

 Education and Experience

  •  BCBA Graduate Level Certification in behavior analysis and one year of experience using PBS with people who experience I/DD; OR
  • MA/MS in a related field and one year of experience using PBS to support individuals who experience I/DD; OR
  • BA/BS in a related field and three years of experience using PBS to support individuals who experience I/DD; OR
  • Six years of experience performing professional behavior services using PBS to support people who experience I/DD by 1.1.20 and no less than three letters of recommendation from Case Management Entities who have approved FBAs or PBSPs authored by the applicant
